The Death of Bunny Munro: A Novel - Nick Cave Granted, I'm only on page 65, but I've been on page 65 since it came out. I've had to put this book down soo many times because I keep wondering when the story is going to start. IMO, "And The Ass Saw The Angel" was way better...the prose for B.Monroe, is as expected beautiful. It has managed to make me uncomfortable and a little sick to my stomch...but again beautiful prose.

I'll eventually finish it, but right now..."Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" calls my name.

So, I decided that I honestly don't care to finish this book. A little sad, but seriously, it could have been better especially within the first 60 pages - it should have picked up the pace.
World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War - Max Brooks i wish there were 1/2 stars.
i would have given this a 4 out of 5 if there had been about 100-150 pages cut out of the damn thing.

it starts out really great - you have this momentum to keep reading. if you put it down for more than a day or two and come back to it, it does get cumbersome to read...i could have done without a majority of the testimonies - they did get a bit repetitive.

overall a great read and inventive.

Fire Study - Maria V. Snyder i started reading this...and it seemed like it was starting just as the previous 2 books were. i read the first chapter...skipped ahead a few more, read part of the middle and then went right to the last chapter and read that. it just seemed like it was more of the same and there wasn't much character development from what i saw. the end was just the same...i guess it's like she wants to have it open ended in case there happens to be a fourth book. i just wish yelena and valek would hook up & call it a day. the tension was quite captured and i was getting quite tired of by the 3rd book.

i'm kinda glad i just skipped a majority of this book.
Let the Right One In - John Ajvide Lindquist this book makes me feel dirty...just when i thought it couldn't get any worse...yea, it does.

i thought some parts could have been cut out and the book could have been shorter. the beginning takes a while to pick up...the writing style a bit to get used to, but once you hit the first portion of the middle, you can plow through 200+ pages easily.

i'm rounding the end, and i have to say it is a well written book that really makes you feel like a vampire book should...creeped out and uncomfortable.
Baby. Owner's Manual. Operating Instructions, Troubleshooting Tips, and Advice on First-Year Maintenance - Joe Borgenicht, Louis Borgenicht i actually found this while picking up the cat owner's manual...purchased for my baby sister...it actually a great book for young soon to be parents and puts some fun into it!
